# What Cohalen is

Source: https://cohalen.com/docs

You launch the agents, watch them work, review each change, and ship the pull
request. All from one window.

These docs assume you're comfortable with diffs, branches, and pull requests.

## How a change ships [#how-a-change-ships]

Every change moves through four stages, in order. Reviewing can send it back a
stage: a note you leave on a diff line becomes part of the agent's next turn.

  A change moves from Chat to Review to Checks to Ship, in that order. Notes you
  leave while reviewing feed back into Chat. They become the agent's next turn.
}

/>

1. **Chat.** You prompt an agent. It works in its own workspace.
2. **Review.** You read the changeset as one unit.
3. **Checks.** Every merge signal, boiled down to one verdict.
4. **Ship.** Commit and push, open the pull request, merge.

Read these two, in order. The rest of the sidebar follows the four stages, a page
at a time. Reach for it when you need it.
